They lost it at that. They both started laughing and couldn't stop for a while. But they had a video to finish so they had to get their composure back and went on with the question. The next few questions were basic. Something you'd ask the person you're having a date with for the first time. They were good sports about it and were actually enjoying each other's company.

 It was light and gaudy, the kind of conversation you had with old friends. The next card Maxon drew was kind of interesting. It said Name 3 things you and your partner appear have in common. 

Dominique took a moment and thought before she answered confidently: 

1. We both love our siblings most of the time.

 2. We both know how to acknowledge the need for an outlet for creativity. 

3. We both like Panic! at the Disco. 

Maxon laughed. "I more than like Panic! at the Disco. I don't know about you but I could listen to them forever. But I do agree with the other two."

 

1.We both like like to read.

 2. We aren't emotionally attached to our mobile phones. 

 3. We're homebodies.

Dominique smiled. "High five on the phone thing!" she said with her hand raised with a tiny laugh. Maxon immediately slapped her a five, a smile playing on his lips. 

'Her smile is so infectious it makes me nervous.' he thought.

 The next few questions were this or that questions which were actually funny because it was the small things they were disagreeing on and they were more than ready to bicker about why theirs was the right choice. It was entertaining for Nat and Bran because they could see them actually having fun and letting their inhibitions melt away. Max and Dom were talking like old friends, maybe even flirting a bit.

Nat told Bran: "Don't they look good together?" Bran said: "Suprisingly yeah, Max isn't usually the type to be this playful with a girl he just met. But that's probably because your sister's aura is so warm." Nat nodded. "Doms has always been that way. She's so warm and friendly to everyone, I don't know how she'll do in court when she actually has to interrogate people. Like, she's probably going to end up charming the witness or something." That made Bran laugh. "I can see it. That's hilarious. They look really good together though, I hope Max grows some balls and gets her number." Nat winked at Bran as if she had something up her sleeve to make that happen(if Max turns out to be too chicken to actually ask for Dom's number). 

That's when they heard Max and Dom losing it for the second time in the video. They were arguing which accent sounded better between British and Australian. Dom was a hardcore British supporter while Max was partial to the Australian accent. As Dom was winning in the argument, Maxon tried to do an impression of the Australian accent at which he failed miserably but the fact that he tried so hard but still did such a bad job was just too funny. 

Before long, they were down to their last question.

The card said: Do you feel chemistry?

                     Maxon and Dominique made their way to the set without a word because they weren’t allowed to do so. But that didn’t stop them from looking at each other and immediately guess what the other was like. Maxon thought that Dominique looked very elegant and young. Her features were soft and she would be a beautiful subject to shoot. She moved with grace and her eyes twinkled a bit. Dominique was the type of girl that guys would be pining over but she’s single because her standards haven’t been met yet. Dominique thought Maxon was quite tall and lean. He had an awkward smile, like his lips weren’t used to it. He had striking steel gray eyes hidden in huge glasses. He had messy dark hair that had natural highlights when light hit it, it wasn’t exactly straight or curly, just in between. Overall, he looked very laid back and content like he didn’t worry a lot and had a very nice aura around him. She wonders if her first impression was a correct.
                    They sat across each other on two easy chairs trying to settle in as Natalia gave directions to the camera crew on where to place the lights and the where to but reflectors. She told Maxon to not sit too comfortably because it looked a little lousy and told Dominique to look a little relaxed because she looked a bit constipated. They were given cards that contained the questions. When they were ready to start the video, Natalia started rolling.

1st Question: Define yourself in 3rd person then make the other person react on how you described yourself.

Maxon: “Ladies first”

Dominique: “Wait, I need time to think about which parts I’ll include. I’m a ‘lil awesome.”

Maxon: *laughs* “Oh little Miss Perfect huh?”

Dominique: “Perfect’s overrated, I prefer, exponentially gifted. Kidding kidding. Please don’t think I’m cocky. I’m really nervous so I’m faking confidence till it becomes real.”

Maxon: “Why would you be nervous?”

Dominique: “I don’t even know. I just am. But going back to video. If I were to describe myself in third person. I’d say, Her name Dominique Elise Hagen. People usually call her Doms or Nikki and she is a law student in Columbia University and she loves it. She is generally bright and does her best to help the people around her. Also, she likes to watch Game of Thrones while eating her Maltesers when she has time away from case studies. She’s into working out and boxing when she’s stressed out and it keeps her fit.”

Maxon: "Okay nice. I’ll just say mine then I’ll tell you what I think about your description. Okay. I have mine now. If I were to describe myself in third person, I'd say, his name is Maxon Kyle Harrington. People usually call him Maxon or Max. He has a Architecture degree but he focuses more on his passion, photography. He's pretty good at it and has shot some good landscapes and videos. He's likes reading books by Mitch Albom but not more than biking or running in Florida."

Dominique: "Nice nice. Mitch Albom is pretty good.

Maxon smiles thinking, she probably thinks I'm a cheesy mofo.

Maxon: "Yeah. I think I've read almost all of his books. Anyway, your description. Ummm I found it so funny that your nicknames are so different and so much shorter than your real name. Hahaha I'll call you Dom, if that's okay. I applaud you for taking up law, that's pretty damn impressive but I'm more impressed that you still get to sneak in GoT in your schedule. P.S. Look for me when you're stressed, I need a gym buddy. Bran's useless AF.

Dominique laughs.

Dominique:"Sure thing. Nat's the same."

They shared a look of mischief, knowing Brandon and Natalia couldn't react or they'd have to edit the video more than they should. Maxon even dared to sneak a cheeky wink.

Dominique: "I like Maxon more than Max. I'll call you Maxon. You're a photographer. Wow. (mumbles) You look more like a model though."

Maxon: "Sorry? I didn't quite catch that."

Dominique: "It's not important. You should show me some of your photos after this. Mitch Albom is really good. The books just activate the waterworks. My favorite one is The Five People You Meet in Heaven. Like, damn. Anyway, you're from Florida? That's so cool. You're so near the amusement parks and stuff. The weather must be beautiful."

Maxon: "Hahaha you're cute. Yeah but I wanted to try somewhere colder and actually experience the four seasons. New York's just beautiful. I just miss Florida sun sometimes but other than that, I'm ready to be a Yankee."

Max shouts at Bran: Cut that last bit out. I sounded so tourist in that. Jesus Christ."

Maxon parks his Chevy in a car park near the studio Bran told him to go to. He had to bring his big car because he had to bring home his stuff after helping Bran out with the editing of the video he was doing. Maxon came from a seminar he had to do about his success as a person who used his passion and talent to become one of the most prominent youth in the media scene. 

It was stressful because he was not really into talking in big groups. It was exhausting for him. Good thing, he had an excuse to leave early. Bran's video thing. He brought his MacBook and his hard drive to help him do the editing quickly. He walked up the studio and walked in only to be pulled to the side by Bran. "Max, I have another huge favor to ask you. I need you to step in for your brother. I asked Pat to do this video then he backed out. Now one girl has no partner. Will you do it?" 

Max massaged his temples. "Pat did that? That little shit. I guess I have to save the guy again. Like I always do. Okay what do I need to do?" he said while shooting a text to his little brother that he owed him one. Bran explains what he needs to do for the video. "Do I look okay enough for the video?" Maxon asked. "Dude you look fine. Actually, I'm surprised. You're dressed up. Did you come from a date? Bran said. "No dude, I had this talk thing that some school invited me to talk in." Maxon answered. Like he'd go on a date in the middle of the day in a long sleeved dress shirt with a navy blue tie and gray pants. "Okay. Let's go. I think your partner's here already." Bran said.

 "Is she hot?" Maxon asked. Bran didn't get to answer because a lady came up to them in a white top and little black pencil skirt topped off with some black heels. Her mousy brown hair going down in messy waves on her back. Her hazel eyes wide and a little worried. "Uhm, is this where Natalia Hägen is doing her shoot? I'm her sister, Dominique." Bran smiled. "Yeah it's right this way. You're right on time. I think the 4th couple is just finishing up and you're up next." He leads Dominique into the waiting room and gestures Maxon to follow. 

Bran raised an eyebrow at Maxon as if to say 'Does that answer your question?'. Maxon just nodded. She was pretty freaking hot. Dominique enters the waiting room as her sister enters from the studio door. "DOMS!!!!!!! You made it." Nat says excitedly pulling her sister in a bear hug. "I said I would Nat, I don't break my word. You know that Nat." Dominique said. "Okay sissy you're up next." Natalia tells Dominique then turns to Bran to see if he found a replacement for Patrick. Dominique goes to touch up her make up and just get the nerves out of the way. Bran points at Maxon as Maxon puts his arm out to shake Natalia's hand. "Max Harrington, I'm actually Pat's older brother." he says with a grin.

 Natalia can't help but smile back. This could go so many different ways. Nat just knows her sister is in for a treat. "Hi, I'm Natalia. I'm directing the shoot but no need to worry too much I just need to oversee some things but you pretty much have free rein. We'll start in 10, are you good with that?"she asked. "Oh okay yeah we can start in 10. Umm Natalia, I have a question. Do I look okay? Am I overdressed or something? I can change into something more casual. I think I have something in my car." Max said. Nat smiled. He's a worrywart for someone who looks that good. "You look fine. Maybe you could lose the tie and pop the  top button. You'll also feel more comfortable I think." she said. "Okay. I'll do that. Sorry I'm a bit nervous because this thing is so impromptu... Stupid brother. I'm more of a behind the scenes guy." he said as he ran his hand through his hair.

"You're fine Max. My sister doesn't bite" Nat said.

Two weeks later, it’s time to shoot the video. Bran’s going to control the cameras and Natalia is directing the whole thing. There are 5 couples doing the video. Natalia decided to make her sister go last because she made sure Doms got the best looking guy and because she couldn’t come in early. She needed to have some advising or something on her writing elective. 

Nat couldn’t help but frown. Trust her sister to make her advising the same day as the shoot. It’s fine though. She just needed a video to go up soon. They set the whole set up in this studio they got to do the video. The people had to stay in another room so that they had no idea what would happen during the actual video and they would have more genuine answers because they were asked simultaneously. It was actually amusing to watch. 

The first two couples were actually cute and the answers were so different. It was really cool. This might just become viral. Like, Buzzfeed would make a video reacting to this kind of video. In the middle of the 3rd couple’s shoot, Bran’s phone rang. He let one of the crew people take over the camera he was manning so he could answer it. It was one of the people he contacted for the shoot, Patrick. He was the guy for the 4th couple in the video. “What’s up, Pat?” Bran asked. “Bro, this is so unprofessional, I know. I really can’t get out of this thing I have on and I really want this thing. I have to back out of the shoot.” Patrick said. “Dude, are you sure? We can make you last to do it or something. We don’t have any substitutes Pat.” Bran said with slight alarm. “No dude. I’m really sorry. Tell Natalia for me too. I hope it doesn’t ruin the whole video. I’m so sorry.” Patrick said. “Okay dude. We’ll have to try something out but good luck to whatever you’re doing now.” Bran replied, resigned about the situation. 

He went back to the camera he was manning and finished the 3rd couple’s shoot then he called for a break. He pulled Natalia in a corner and told her about the Patrick situation. “We need to get this video done soon Nat. All we need to do is to move up the partners. Emily will be with Brad” Bran said. Natalia frowned. “But that’ll mean my sister won’t have a partner for her part. She’s coming, you know, a little late but she didn’t cancel.” Natalia said. “Well, I don’t see her now, do I, Nat? We’d be wasting time. Emily and Brad are here already.” Bran countered. “What’ll happen to my sister then? Do I have to cancel on her? That’d be so mean.” Natalia said. Bran’s eyebrows furrowed. “I have an idea. Don’t cancel on your sister. I have just the right person.”

 Dude!

 H-hey dude. *yawns* What’s up?

 You just woke up? Dude it’s noon.

 I was up all night developing my pictures. I slept for, like, 7 hours. 

Yeah okay. Hey listen, could you do me a huge favour?

 How huge are we talking? 

A little huge. I kind of a production thing with a girl I met through Youtube. We had this video idea and we need multiple cameras and all the reflectors and lights and shit you need to make a good shoot. So, I’m wondering, if I could maybe borrow your stuff. 

Hmmm. When do you need it? I might have a shoot on that day. Or I might be flying my drone out in the country. I just got this new apparatus and it’s so awesome. It’s so cool Bran.

 I need it in 2 weeks. 8 hours max. Please Max. We really need it and maybe, you could help us in the editing part? I mean, I know how to edit, but we want to make this video elegant and seamless and you always make those types of videos and pictures. 

I actually have something on that day but nothing I need my equipment with so I guess I can loan you my stuff. But you have to take care of it. And about the editing, I think I’ll be able to come and help out but later on in the day. So, I’ll bring my stuff to your place early in the morning and then you can just send me the address of where you’ll be shooting. 

Sweet! Dude you’re a lifesaver.

Oh dude, it’s really easy. But cool, you know, I just want you to get out here and do exciting things. Try something new so that you’re not holed up in your room all the damn time. 

That didn’t answer my question, Nat. And... That ‘holing up’ isn’t worse than talking to a camera and hope what you record gets likes.

 Chill, don’t go Dominique on me. I just have this video idea where random people are paired up and they get to know each other with thought provoking questions. This might just go viral, Elle. If it does, OMG! I’ll get to go to Playlist Live and actually meet the big Youtubers. Doms, please say you’ll help. I have a feeling it’ll work and I want you to be part. Please, please, please, pretty please with Maltesers on top? 

Dang Nat, you really know how to talk a person’s ear off. But yeah sure, I guess. It seems pretty cool but please pair me up with someone who can handle my awesomeness. My modest self needs someone who’s pretty dang awesome too, in an opposite kind of way. You know what I mean. 

I can try, sissy. No promises though. Okay. I’ll send you an address a week before the shoot. Dress nice and wear make–up. We don’t want you to look washed out in the video. Thanks a bunch. Love ya! See you soon lil sis!

 I’m only 11 months younger and I’m taller than you but I guess I love you too. See you and you’re buying dinner when we see each other.
